Seeking experienced assistant controller for auto parts distributor in Queens, NY. College degree and at least three years of experience required. Must have excellent computer skills, including experience with accounting software. Additional responsibilities include:
• Direct budgets and control costs
• Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance
• Maintain, analyze, and summarize general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial statements
• Coordinate information with outside auditors
• Present financial information to senior management
• Work on special projects as needed
• Maintain vendor and customer relations
